Swing Check Valve

The swing check valve features a hinged disc that swings open under forward flow and closes by gravity or reverse flow. It is the workhorse for horizontal pipelines, particularly in oil and gas, petrochemical, and water treatment systems. Available in sizes from DN50 to DN1200, pressure ratings up to Class 1500.

Lift Check Valve (Piston Type)

The lift check valve uses a spring-loaded or gravity-operated piston that moves vertically to open and close. Ideal for high-pressure steam and high-velocity applications. Available in horizontal and vertical configurations.

Dual Plate (Wafer) Check Valve

Also known as double-door or wafer check valve, this design features two semicircular plates that pivot on a central hinge pin. Compact, lightweight, and fits between flanges like a wafer. Faster closure than swing check, significantly reducing water hammer. Covered by API 594, available in sizes DN50 to DN1800, ideal for space-constrained installations and vertical or horizontal pipelines.
